Thought the ice looked so neat that I put on my boots this morning and went out to snap a few photos with my big ol’ Canon zoom lens. The kids have off from school so it’s sure to be a looooong day.
(Yes, I know – so lame, our garland & lights are still up out front.)

This one’s special for my Mom. There’s a thick coat of ice on the car, you can see it here on the handle. Let the comments begin about how she’s not scraping any ice of her car in sunny Florida today…

Gorgeous!
Great pics – wish I had taken one of the car before I scrapped it. . .LOL. . .oh and btw – we stil have wreaths and lights up outside too! =)
Hillary
Nature is gorgeous – I’m always amazed at the patterns in the ice and snow.
Beeeeutiful pics, I must admit. . some calendar worthy!
However, thank you very much, I am not scraping ice off my car door or windshield. . .Nanna , Nanna, BooBoo. . come on down y’all to the sunshine state-only state of ALL 50 states that had no snow on the ground last week. .yesiree Robert . .the Sunshine state’s the place to be.
Oh and did i mention there’s no ice on the car. . . better stop now before I am ostracized from this site. . . .
Wait til hurricane season!!! Then you can come north!!!
Good for you for getting outside in this weather for the sake of photography!
Tam, I don’t know if it was all that great… I was just on the top stoop of my stairs and then on my back deck! Although it was definitely freezing rain on me!! But I’m all about that big zoom lens – I never have to move when I’m using it. Love it
Wow! Beautiful photos!
I love that you still have holiday decorations up. You know my mom, she leaves some lights up all winter! I think it looks nice in the snow and ice.
